Abstract:
Provided is a check valve that prevents a valve body from being damaged and scattered even by the action of a large fluid pressure while ensuring high sealing performance. A check valve (1) comprises a flow path member (14) having an inner circumferential surface (12) that defines a fluid passage (10), and a valve body (16) disposed so as to be displaceable between a closed position at which the fluid passage (10) is closed and an open position at which the fluid passage (10) is open. The valve body (16) is formed of a material having lower rigidity than a portion of the flow path member (14) where at least a valve seat surface (30) and a lock surface (32) are formed. When the valve body (16) is displaced further to the upstream side from the closed position while deforming an abutting part (36) of the valve body (16) engaged with the valve seat surface (30) by receiving a force to the upstream side, the deformed valve body (16) is engaged with the lock surface (32) and supported.
