Abstract:
A hydraulic actuator (10) comprises: a tube (20) that expands and contracts due to the pressure of a fluid; a sleeve (30) that is a stretchable structure of interwoven fiber cords (31) aligned in a prescribed direction (θ1) and that covers the outer peripheral surface of the tube (20); a sealing member (40) that seals an end part (21) of the tube (20) in the axial direction (XA); and a restricting member (50) that is provided to a part in the circumferential direction of the tube (20) and from one end side to the other end side in the axial direction (XA), and that restricts elongation along the axial direction at the part in the circumferential direction of the tube (20). In a state where the tube (20) extends in the axial direction (XA), the prescribed direction (θ1) in which the fiber cords (31) of the sleeve (30) are aligned is the orientation of elongation when the tube (20) expands. The restricting member (50) is interwoven and integrated with the sleeve (30), or is provided between the sleeve (30) and the tube (20).
