Abstract:
The present invention rotates and drives a retainer around the axis of the ball bearings and detects, using a sensor, convex areas having pockets provided therein along the ball pitch circle of the retainer and concave areas between adjacent pockets. Grease is dispensed in accordance with the phases of the convex areas and concave areas in the driven and rotated retainer, from a dispenser having grease dispensing ports arranged facing an annular space.
