Abstract:
A plurality of balls inserted in the gap space between an outer ring raceway surface and an inner ring raceway surface is arranged at equally spaced intervals in the circumferential direction. The procedure of this ball arranging method for a ball bearing has: a ball holding step for causing a ball holding mechanism provided at the front end of a robot arm to hold any of the balls located within the gap space; and a ball moving step for moving the ball held by the ball holding mechanism along a pitch circle. These steps are repeatedly performed for the plurality of balls on the basis of a control program. As a result, the plurality of balls is arranged at equally spaced intervals on the pitch circle.
