Abstract:
A glass fiber-reinforced polyethylene composite material for a thermoplastic pipe, relating to the technical field of pipe materials. In order to solve an existing problem of poor impact resistance, provided is a glass fiber-reinforced polyethylene composite material for a thermoplastic pipe, comprising the following components in parts by weight: high-density polyethylene: 50-70; linear low-density polyethylene: 10-20; a peroxide initiator: 0.01-0.03; maleic anhydride: 1-5; a dispersant: 5.0-8.0; activated calcium carbonate: 2.0-4.0; carbon black: 1.0-3.0; and modified glass fiber: 5-15. The modified glass fiber is obtained by using an unsaturated silane coupling agent to perform surface modification treatment on glass fiber, and then grafting polymethyl methacrylate. By means of the composition, the compatibility and interfacial binding force between the glass fiber and a matrix material can be effectively improved, and high impact strength resistance properties and ring stiffness properties of the material are achieved.
