A gas turbine engine according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with an oil tank for storing lubricating oil, a compressor, a combustor, and a cylindrical external case accommodating a turbine, wherein the oil tank is arranged to surround the external case along an outer circumferential surface of the external case.
