Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a functional filter for a hair dryer that makes it possible to alter the quality of a person's hair, a hair dryer that uses the functional filter, and a method for using the hair dryer that uses the functional filter to dry the hair on the head of a person. [Solution] A functional filter 1 for a hair dryer is to be attached to a blowing port of the hair dryer. The filter 1 includes 15–45 wt% of Fe2O3, 10–33 wt% of SiO2, and/or 13–45 wt% of Fuji lava produced within the city of Fujinomiya in Shizuoka. Such a functional filter for a hair dryer makes it possible to alter the quality of a person's hair.
