Abstract:
Provided is a fastening device capable of rapidly performing operation of fastening a plurality of workpieces with a fastener made of a fiber-reinforced resin and also capable of improving the quality of operation of fastening the respective workpieces. The fastening device according to the present invention includes a press unit 1 and a high-frequency induction heater 3 that constitute a fastening instrument, and a control computer 5 serving as a determination instrument. In addition, the fastening device uses an intermediate tool 110 made of a carbon-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin. The press unit 1 has a fastening mold 15, and a servo press machine 9 serving as a shaft pressurizing instrument. The press unit 1 uses the intermediate tool 110 as a fastener 11. The high-frequency induction heater 3 has a first high-frequency induction coil 3b serving as a high-frequency induction coil. The control computer 5 determines whether or not the fastener 11 has failed.
