Abstract:
This exhaust pipe comprises a metal pipe and an inorganic porous layer provided on a part of the inner surface of the metal pipe through which exhaust gas passes. In this exhaust pipe, an inner diameter D1 of the metal pipe, a thickness d1 of the metal pipe, and a thickness d2 of the inorganic porous layer satisfy both expressions (1) and (2) below. (1): d2/D1 < 0.12
(2): 0.2 < d2/d1 < 3
