Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of batteries, and provides an end cap, a battery cell, a battery, an electrical device, and a manufacturing method. Two sides of the end cap in the thickness direction thereof are respectively provided with a first recess and a second recess. The first recess has a first bottom surface, and the second recess has a second bottom surface. In the thickness direction, a portion of the end cap between the first bottom surface and the second bottom surface forms a pressure relief portion. The pressure relief portion is provided with a weak portion, and the weak portion is configured to be damaged during pressure release of the battery cell. The two sides of the end cap in the thickness direction are respectively provided with the first recess and the second recess, and the first recess and the second recess have a thinning effect, so that the pressure relief portion located between the first bottom surface and the second bottom surface has a relatively thin thickness. In this way, it is easy to form a weak portion in the pressure relief portion, and it is easy to ensure the explosion pressure consistency of the weak portion, so that the weak portion can normally be opened for pressure release under the action of the internal pressure of the battery cell, thereby improving the safety of the battery cell.
