Abstract:
An emergency remediation method for a halogenated organic contaminated site, which is implemented by means of constructing a bioelectrochemical system of engineered bacteria and additives driven by a micro-electric field. The micro-electric field employs a cast iron electrode or copper-zinc biochar electrode as an anode (5), and a plastic electrode as a cathode (6). The electrodes are replaced in stages. The engineered bacteria and additives are spayed on the site. The remediation method works simply and has an obvious effect, and the removal rate of halogenated organic pollutants reaches 95% or more. An emergency remediation apparatus used for the halogenated organic contaminated site is also comprised.
