Abstract:
Provided is an electronic pen provided with a function of haptically transmitting information to a user. The present invention comprises: a cylindrical housing; a vibration transmission member that is disposed inside a hollow section of the housing in a state in which vibrations produced therein can be transmitted to the housing; a vibrator that is disposed in the vibration transmission member; a pulse generation unit that is disposed inside the hollow section of the housing and generates a pulse signal for driving the vibrator; and a power circuit that is disposed inside the hollow section of the housing and supplies power to the pulse generation unit. The vibrator is constituted by a plurality of electrode pins implanted in the vibration transmission member, and one or more wires comprising a shape memory alloy, which spans two electrode pins among the plurality of electrode pins. The pulse signal from the pulse generation unit is supplied to the wires through the electrode pins, causing the wires to vibrate, and the vibration of the wires is transmitted to the housing via the electrode pins and the vibration transmission member.
