Abstract:
This electromagnetic clutch comprises an electromagnetic coil (33), a rotor, an armature, a stator (30) that holds the electromagnetic coil, a sealing part (34) that is made of a resin material and seals the electromagnetic coil, and a connector (40). The connector includes a first terminal (41) connected to the electromagnetic coil, a second terminal (42) that is configured as a separate piece from the first terminal and connected to the first terminal, and a connector housing (43) that covers the second terminal. The connector housing is made of a resin material and formed as a separate piece from the sealing part. The first terminal has a wire connecting section (411) connected to the conductor of the electromagnetic coil and a second terminal connecting section (412) that continues from the wire connecting section and is connected to the second terminal. The wire connecting section is sealed by the sealing part. The second terminal connecting section is exposed from the sealing part, and the portion of the second terminal connecting section that is exposed from the sealing part is made of a conductor member having a higher compressive strength than the conductor of the electromagnetic coil.
