Abstract:
A crankshaft (1) is provided with a plurality of journal parts (J), a plurality of pin parts (P), and a plurality of crank arm parts (A). The journal parts (J) are disposed coaxially with the rotational center of the crankshaft (1). The pin parts (P) are eccentric relative to the journal parts (J). Each of the crank arm parts (A) is disposed between one journal part (J) and one pin part (P), linking the journal part (J) and the pin part (P) together. One or more of the crank arm parts (A) has an integrated counterweight part (W). The counterweight part (W) includes two side surfaces (Wb1, Wb2). Hardened layers (11) are provided on the side surfaces (Wb1, Wb2).
