A double-loop closed Brayton cycle power generation device, which belongs to the technical field of closed Brayton cycle power generation and comprises a left-side Brayton thermoelectric conversion unit (1), a right-side Brayton thermoelectric conversion unit (2), a vacuumizing subsystem (3), an inflation and exhaust subsystem (4), a first cooling water system (5), a second cooling water system (6), a heater (7), and a heat regenerator (8). The right-side Brayton thermoelectric conversion unit (2) is connected to the heat regenerator (8) and the first cooling water system (5). The left-side Brayton thermoelectric conversion unit (1) is connected to the second cooling water system (6) and the heat regenerator (8). The heater (7) is connected to the heat regenerator (8), the left-side Brayton thermoelectric conversion unit (1) and the right-side Brayton thermoelectric conversion unit (2). The cycle power generation device greatly reduces the volume and weight of the device while maintaining high thermoelectric conversion efficiency. Also disclosed is an operation method.
