Provided in the present invention are a dog noseprint recognition method and system. The dog noseprint recognition method comprises: performing nose image collection on a dog, acquiring a nose image, and processing the nose image to obtain a plurality of regional images to be subjected to recognition; performing key point detection on the plurality of regional images to be subjected to recognition, so as to obtain key points corresponding to the regional images to be subjected to recognition, and by using the key points, performing alignment processing on the regional images to be subjected to recognition, so as to obtain aligned regional images to be subjected to recognition; and performing dog noseprint feature vector extraction and recognition on the aligned regional images to be subjected to recognition, and then determining a dog identity recognition result by means of dog noseprint feature vector extraction and recognition. The system comprises modules corresponding to the method steps.
