Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for operating a user equipment (UE) in order to configure parameters related to a discontinuous reception (DRX) operation in a wireless communication system. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving configuration information related to a DRX operation from a base station; performing the DRX operation on the basis of the configuration information; transmitting a first message including information related to at least one parameter related to the DRX operation; and receiving a second message including information related to the reconfiguration of the at least one parameter. The first message may include information that is determined by the UE, related to the traffic characteristics, and used to reconfigure the at least one parameter.
