Disclosed in the present application are a data processing method and a related apparatus. The method may be applied to a network card device, and the network card device is connected to M dies, M being an integer greater than 1. The method comprises: acquiring a target session, wherein the target session comprises a target IP address, the target IP address being an IP address of a network card device; determining target dies from among the M dies according to the target IP address and a preset binding relationship, wherein the binding relationship indicates that the target IP address corresponds to the target dies, and the target dies are N dies, from among a plurality of dies, that have the shortest physical communication distance to the network card device, N being a positive integer less than M; and transmitting the target session to the target dies, such that the target dies execute the target session. In the present application, a network card device transmits a target session to a die for execution, which die has a relatively short physical communication distance to the network card device, such that the speed of communication between the network card device and the die is increased.
