Disclosed in the present application are a data acquisition method and system, and a related device. The data acquisition method comprises: a network device acquiring a first read request for first data which is sent by a first instance to a second instance, wherein the first read request comprises an identifier of the first data, and the second instance comprises information of a third instance which has a read/write permission to the first data; and determining whether the network device comprises the information of the third instance, when the network device comprises the information of the third instance, generating a second read request according to the information of the third instance and the first read request, and sending the second read request to the third instance, wherein the second read request comprises the identifier of the first data and the information of the third instance and is used for requesting that the third instance reads the first data. In the method, a network device can acquire information of a data owner of first data without communicating with a data master of the first data, and sends a second read request to the data owner of the first data, such that the load of the data master during a data acquisition process can be reduced.
