Abstract:
This seat leak detection method includes: a step (a) for closing an upstream shut-off valve and a downstream shut-off valve and inputting, into a flow rate control device, a set flow rate of 0% or a control valve forced close signal; a step (b) for measuring the feed pressure, the upstream pressure, or the downstream pressure at a first time point; a step (c) for measuring the feed pressure, the upstream pressure, or the downstream pressure at a subsequent second time point; and a step (d) for detecting a control valve seat leak on the basis of a pressure variation in the feed pressure, the upstream pressure, or the downstream pressure. In step (d), if the pressure variation in the feed pressure, the upstream pressure, or the downstream pressure between the first time point and the second time point exceeds a threshold, monitoring is performed, up to a third time point that is after the second time point, to observe whether a set flow rate other than a set flow rate of 0% has been inputted or a signal input other than that of a control valve forced close signal has taken place; if such a signal input is taking place, the seat leak detection flow is ended; and if a flow rate of 0% is being maintained, the feed pressure, the upstream pressure, or the downstream pressure is measured again at the third time point and seat leak detection is carried out.
