Abstract:
A method for determining contact between an ultrasound probe and a body part performed by a computing device, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: acquiring a plurality of reference images through the ultrasound probe; on the basis of the plurality of reference images, generating contact determination criteria for whether there is contact between the ultrasound probe and the body part, and an effective pressure range for contact pressure; acquiring a candidate image through the ultrasound probe; determining whether the candidate image satisfies the contact determination criteria and the effective pressure range; and, if the candidate image satisfies the contact determination criteria and the effective pressure range, determining the candidate image as a valid image acquired when contact pressure between the ultrasound probe and the body part was appropriate.
