Abstract:
When a connection structure of square pipes uses welding, thermal strain occurs due to heating, and deteriorates the accuracy and appearance. A rectangular opening is formed at an end of a first square pipe, and a leading end of a second square pipe having substantially the same cross-sectional shape is inserted into the rectangular opening, and retained by a retention means. An outer surface of the inserted leading end abuts an opening forming edge, thereby restricting movement in a plane. Therefore, it is possible to orthogonally connect pipes without welding, and it is extremely easy to assemble and disassemble the pipes. Moreover, it is also possible to form a rectangular opening on each of a plurality of sides of four sides in a cut end portion of one square pipe, and insert a different square pipe into each rectangular opening to connect the pipes. Pipe connections in three directions X, Y, Z are available.
