Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for treating cancer using combination therapy, comprising a Lactobacillus plantarum strain and herbal medicine. The Lactobacillus plantarum strain or a culture medium of the strain can not only inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells or induce the death of cancer cells, but also, when administered in combination with herbal medicine, has a synergistic effect on inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells and tumors, and thus can be helpfully used for preventing, treating, or alleviating cancer in the form of a pharmaceutical composition or functional health food.
