Abstract:
A collision energy absorption device (100) and a control method thereof, a bumper (200), and a vehicle (300). The collision energy absorption device (100) comprises a contact cover plate (114), a collision energy absorption cavity (20), and a flexible sealing member (30). The contact cover plate (114) is spaced apart from the collision energy absorption cavity (20). The flexible sealing member (30) is connected between the contact cover plate (114) and the collision energy absorption cavity (20), so as to define a sealing cavity (31). The collision energy absorption cavity (100) comprises a housing (21), a middle partition plate (221), and a spacer cover (222). The housing (21) is provided with an inner cavity (211) and a drainage hole (213). The middle partition plate (221) is fixed in the inner cavity (211). The spacer cover (222) and the middle partition plate (221) are spaced apart to form a spacer cavity (2113).
