Abstract:
This charging roll is provided with a core material, a rubber substrate arranged around the core material, and a surface layer arranged around the rubber substrate. The average height of the outlines of a plurality of protrusions with regard to an average cylindrical surface of a relief on a surface of the surface layer is 0.8μm to 2.1μm, and the average interval between the highest points of the plurality of protrusions on the surface of the surface layer is 6.6μm to 11.5μm.
