Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a catalyst for decomposing perfluorocompounds. The catalyst for decomposing perfluorocarbons comprises: a first catalyst comprising an aluminum oxide; and a second catalyst comprising an oxide of at least one selected from the group consisting of Zr, Ce, and Ga, wherein a ratio of the weight of the second catalyst to the total weight of the first catalyst is from 0.02 to 0.3. The catalyst for decomposing perfluorocompounds may have improved lifetime characteristics and initial activity.
