Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cartridge for molecular diagnosis. The present invention includes a nucleic acid extraction module, a nucleic acid amplification module, an analysis module, and a housing. The nucleic acid extraction module includes an extraction chamber and a first flow path, and the nucleic acid amplification module includes an amplification chamber and a second flow path. A first seal portion is connected to the upper end of the extraction chamber, so that the volume of the extraction chamber is reduced by rotation of the first seal portion, and an extracted nucleic acid is flowed into the amplification chamber through the first flow path by air pressure. A second seal portion is provided at one end of the amplification chamber, so that the volume of the amplification chamber is reduced by rotation of the second seal portion, and the resultant product of PCR is flowed into the analysis module through the second flow path by air pressure. According to the present invention, the cartridge for molecular diagnosis enables test results to be quickly checked through sample collection and molecular diagnosis at the same time on-site, and can reduce the possibility of contamination of samples and enables simple molecular diagnosis.
