Abstract:
Provided in the present invention are a faucet capable of automatically controlling a water level, and a control method thereof. The control method comprises: opening a water-mixing valve, pressing an alarm switch, and then pressing a press-type valve to make water flow out; at this moment, adjusting the water temperature by means of manually adjusting the water-mixing valve, and starting to discharge water; after the discharged water reaches a predetermined water level line, that is, when the water has blocked an air tube port mounted at the predetermined water level line, a press-type valve and self-sealing release mechanism being automatically released to close the press-type valve, thereby stopping water from discharging; and at this moment, a buzzer in a button automatically and continuously producing an alarm prompt sound until an alarm power switch is manually turned off. The beneficial effects lie in: water resources and water heating energy that are wasted due to forgetting to turn off the faucet can be saved, and the user experience is also greatly improved.
