Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus for treating an organic waste, which has high maintainability and can prolong the life of a product. A treatment apparatus 1 includes: an air-tight container 2 that has a storage part 24 in which an organic waste is stored; a vacuum pump 6 that reduces the pressure in the storage part 24; a heating jacket 5 that heats the storage part 24; and a stirring device 3 that has a stirring member 311d for stirring the organic waste in the storage part 24. The stirring device 3 is provided with a stirring shaft 31 having the stirring member 311d attached thereto and a first bearing device 32A and a second bearing device 32B respectively supporting both end parts of the stirring shaft 31. The stirring shaft 31 has a main axis part 311, a first end axis part 312 and a second end axis part 313. The main axis part 311 and the first end axis part 312 and the main axis part 311 and the second end axis part 313 are configured so as to be capable of being connected to and separated from each other.
