Abstract:
Provided is a variant of an antibody, wherein: a conserved amino acid residue present in a base part (CDR loop base part) in a loop structure of a complementarity determining region (CDR) of the antibody is modified into another kind of amino acid residue; the conserved amino acid residue is at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a tyrosine residue, a phenylalanine residue, a tryptophan residue, a leucine residue, a serine residue, a valine residue, an arginine residue, and a threonine residue; and the binding half-life of the variant of the antibody to an antigen due to dissociation is at most 180 seconds.
