Abstract:
An adjustable focus indicator (108) system for an optical instrument, comprising: first and second longitudinal extension tubes (102, 106). The second tube (102) comprises an aperture defining surface shaped to define a longitudinal extension aperture, and at least part of the first tube (106) is located in the aperture. The focus indicator (108) is supported by one of the first tube (106) and the second tube (102), and can move relative to one of the tubes in a longitudinal direction. The focus indicator (108) comprises a first focus indicator mark (111). One of the first and second tubes (102, 106) and the other of the first and second tubes (102, 106) can move relative to each other in the longitudinal direction, such that the focus indicator (108) and the first focus indicator mark (111) move relative to a second focus indicator mark (112) on the other of the first and second tubes (102, 106).
