To obtain a shaving composition excellent in formability and foam stability, good in the slippage of razors, excellent in stickiness and adhesivity to skins, not giving a foreign touch to the skins after shaven up, and little in irritability to the skins by compounding a specific N-alkylamidoalkanol sulfuric acid ester salt.

This shaving agent composition contains an N-alkylamidoalkanol sulfuric acid ester salt of the formula [R1 is a 6-22C alkyl, etc.; R2 is a 1-22C alkyl, etc.; R3 is a 1-5C alkylene; R4O is a 2-3C oxyalkylene; (n) is 0-20C; M is H, an alkali metal, a 2-9C alkanol ammonium, etc.]. The N-alkylamidoalkanol sulfuric acid ester salt is preferably compounded in an amount of 10-40wt.% based on the whole composition, and when water is preliminarily formulated, the water is formulated in an amount of 20-80wt.% based on the whole composition.
