Description:
A SPRING CLASP MECHANISM FOR JEWELRIES

Technical Field

The invention relates to a spring clasp mechanism without a lock to be used for fixing accessories such as bracelets, rings and necklaces.

In particular, the invention relates to a spring clasp mechanism without a lock that allows jewelry such as bracelets, rings and necklaces, etc. to be easily put on and taken off with one hand, to be used by different people, and to prevent falling and breaking.

Known State of the Art

Accessories such as bracelets, rings and necklaces used today have many different models. These accessories, which are produced from precious metals, are also called jewelry.

In the current technique, lock and connection systems are used that carry out the opening and closing process in jewelry, or that allow its pieces to move without compromising its integrity by connecting many pieces of jewelry to each other. These systems differ according to the purpose of use of the jewelry or the production system.

For example, besides jewelry items that do not require lock and connection systems such as rings; these systems are needed in jewelry such as necklaces, pendants, bracelets, etc. regarding their use. Connection types used in jewelry are generally of four types: tube profile system, snap system, pin system and screw system.

Presently used jewelry is produced in different forms for the use of different people in terms of gender or weight, etc. A standard product cannot be used on thinner or thicker wrists or thinner or thicker fingers. When size adjustment is required during the sale of this product, the product goes to repair and an additional repair fee needs to be paid and time loss occurs. It is not possible to attach and detach with one hand in Italian, name tag, box, etc. lock systems that are widely used in accessories. In addition, in case of lock failure, products may fall and be lost because there is no clasp mechanism. For this reason, the need for a mechanism has arisen in the known state of the art that allows the use of jewelry by different people, that can be removed and put on with one hand and that does not require a lock system.

The document numbered 2018/19517 can be shown as an example of the state of the art in the research conducted in the literature. The said document relates to a hidden locking mechanism (A) for jewelry, which ensures that the ends of the jewelry (T) are locked by interlocking in such a way that they cannot be seen from the outside. The said invention comprises a body (10) attached to the tip of the jewelry (T) on which a movable cover (30) is closed, and a tongue attached to the other end of the jewelry (T), which is locked by placing in the said body (10). However, the mechanism in the said application does not include a feature to adjust the size of the jewelry for the use of different people.

The utility model application numbered 2013/03792 relates to the bracelet with mounted stones. The said document describes bracelet without locks and hinges in the jewelry industry, on which cast stone mountings are applied using a cutting and spinning mold system, as well as a laser welding and spotting system. However, although the bracelet in the said application does not have locks and hinges, it does not include a feature to adjust the size of the jewelry for the use of different people.

Therefore, the existence of the above problems and the inadequacy of the existing solutions made it necessary to make an improvement in the relevant technical field.

Objective of the Invention

The present invention relates to a spring clasp mechanism that eliminates the disadvantages mentioned above and provides new advantages to the related technical field.

The main objective of the invention is to provide a spring-loaded clasping mechanism for jewelry that allows the accessories or jewelry to be adjusted in a way that allows the use of different people and in different sizes, that can take the form of the area where the jewelry I accessory is used, and that can be easily put on and taken off by herself/himself.

The objective of the invention is to allow the adjustment of the dimensions of the jewelry so that it will provide ease of use not only in certain measurement standards, but in all dimensions, and also to prevent an additional repair fee and loss of time.

One objective of the invention is to provide a mechanism that prevents falling by grasping the wrist or the area of use, and provides the clasp with other springs in case of failure of the spring, as it contains more than one spring.

The other objective of the invention is to disclose a spring clasp mechanism that does not need a lock system but can also be used with a lock system.

In order to achieve all the objectives stated above and those that can be derived from the detailed explanation, the invention is a spring-loaded clasp mechanism developed for jewelry, which allows it to be easily attached and removed with one hand, can be used by different people and in different sizes and to prevent falling and breaking, characterized by comprising:

• Connection shafts (1) for assembling parts with each other,

• Spring chamber (3) consisting of lower chamber (4) and upper chamber (5),

• Working channel (2) that forms the mechanism structure and provides support,

• Lugs (7) that allow the measurement of the size of the product to be determined,

• Springs (8) that generate the movement that provides the flexibility of the mechanism.

The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all its advantages will be understood more clearly by means of the figures presented below and the detailed description written by reference to these figures. For this reason, the evaluation should be made by considering these figures and the detailed description. Figures to Help Understand the Invention

Detailed Description of the Invention

In this detailed description, the preferred alternatives of the spring clasp mechanism, which is the subject of the invention, are explained only for a better understanding of the subject and without causing any limiting effect.

The subject of the invention is a spring-loaded clasp mechanism which allows it to be easily attached and removed easily with one hand, used by different people and in different sizes and to prevent falling and breaking, wherein the said mechanism comprises connection shafts (1) for assembling parts with each other, spring chamber (3) consisting of lower chamber (4) and upper chamber (5), working channel (2) that forms the mechanism structure and provides support, upper part (6) where jewelry/product decoration is made, lugs (7) that allow the measurement of the size of the product to be determined, springs (8) that generate the movement that provides the flexibility of the mechanism.

The spring clasp mechanism, which is the subject of the invention, also comprises the upper part (6), on which the jewelry decorated is made. The working channel (2) forms a whole with the said upper part (6). The upper part (6) is the part to which the upper chamber (5) is connected and acts as a skeleton that holds the whole together.

An example view of the spring clasp mechanism, which is the subject of the invention, is given in Figure 1. Accordingly, the spring clasp mechanism in its most basic form, comprises connection shafts (1) that allows the assembly of the parts with each other, the spring chamber (3) consisting of the chamber (4) and the upper chamber (5), the lugs (7) that enable the size of the product to be determined, and the springs (8) that generate the movement that provides the flexibility of the mechanism.

Figure 2 gives the side, perspective and top views of the subject of the invention on the wristband/bracelet of the spring clasp mechanism. The wristband can take the form of the arm it is attached to, with the mechanism that is the subject of the invention. Therefore, the same product can be used on thinner or thicker wrists. Our invention has eliminated the measurement problem since it has a functional structure in measuring and adjusting jewelry/accessories in the technique. The accessory, preferably the wristband, which comprises the mechanism that is the subject of our invention, grips the wrist tightly and the situation of falling is prevented. In particular, it comprises more than one spring (8) and in case of failure of one spring (8), the other springs (8) continue the clasping function.

Exemplary views of the different embodiments of the spring clasp mechanism of the invention are given in Figures 3 and 4. The lower chamber (4) and the upper chamber (5) contained in the mechanism of the invention are the parts in which the spring is stored, and they provide the control of the pressure of the spring. It is provided in two parts as the lower chamber (4) and the upper chamber (5) to facilitate the assembly process. The lugs (7), which are fixed to the upper chamber (5), perform alignment function in the dimensioning of the product. In an application, when it is on the wristband, it ensures that the wristband takes the shape of the wrist when it is worn on the arm. The recess (9) is formed in the lower channel where the spring is seated. The lower part of the lug (7) is fixed by engaging the recess (9). It also controls the movement of the spring (8) by reducing the spring pressure.
