Abstract:
Disclosed is a rotating electric machine stator including a stator core and stator coils that are formed by connecting a plurality of coil pieces having a rectangular cross-section and including a U-shaped form and are wound around the stator core. The plurality of coil pieces have: slot insertion portions that are inserted into the slots of the stator core; and jumper portions that extend in the circumferential direction in the form of connecting a pair of the slot insertion portions on the axial outer side from the end surface of the stator core. The jumper portions include a non-connection type jumper portion not having a connection portion between the coil pieces. The non-connection type jumper portion has a curved portion having a form curving inside or outside in the radial direction.
