Abstract:
This remote conversation assisting method involves assisting remote conversation between two or more users present in different spaces, through a network, the method comprising: an acquisition step (S101) for acquiring voices uttered by the respective two or more users; a detection step (steps S102 and S103) for detecting, in the acquired voices, a specific emotion state indicating an elevated mood in a predetermined specific emotion and/or inappropriate vocabulary which is predetermined inappropriate vocabulary and which has an adverse impact on the remote conversation; and a control step (S108) for controlling voice output in the remote conversation so as to reduce the output level of a portion in a voice in which the specific emotion state and/or the inappropriate vocabulary has been detected.
