Abstract:
The present invention easily and appropriately evaluates power saving behavior of a user. A power-saving evaluation system 10 evaluates power saving behavior of a user with respect to a power consuming device 20 that is operated by consuming power and for which power consumption can be adjusted by an operation by the user. The power-saving evaluation system 10 comprises: a radio wave strength information acquisition unit 11 that acquires radio wave strength information indicating the strength of radio waves related to near field communication originating from the power consuming device 20 and detected by a device 30 carried by the user; an operation estimation unit 12 that estimates, on the basis of the radio wave strength information, whether the user is operating the power consuming device 20; a power consumption information acquisition unit 13 that acquires power consumption information indicating the power consumption of the power consuming device 20; and an evaluation unit 14 that evaluates the power saving behavior of the user with respect to the power consuming device 20 on the basis of the estimation made by the operation estimation unit 12 and the power consumption information.
