Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of more efficiently forming a layer having excellent aesthetics, etc., by using an actinic ray curable ink-jet ink composition for any fine patterns and depositing a powder having photoluminescent or the like on the surface of the cured ink composition. As a solution, provided is a method for obtaining a powder deposition printed matter in which a powder is deposited on a printed portion by using an adhesive actinic ray curable ink-jet ink composition that has a viscosity not more than 50 mPa·s at 25°C, that has a surface tension not more than 32.0 mN/m at 25°C, and that contains 50.0-85.0 mass% of a monofunctional monomer having a hydroxy group and having a Tg of 0°C or lower, and 0.5-25.0 mass% of bifunctional acrylate oligomers including an amine modified photopolymerizable oligomer. The method involves sequentially performing the following steps (A)-(C). Step (A): A step for forming an adhesive actinic ray curable ink-jet ink composition layer by discharging the adhesive actinic ray curable ink-jet ink composition on a base material by using an ink-jet printer. Step (B): A step for irradiating the adhesive actinic ray curable ink-jet ink composition layer formed in step (A) with actinic rays to cure the ink composition layer. Step (C): A step for acquiring a powder deposition printed matter in which a powder is deposited on the cured adhesive actinic ray curable ink-jet ink composition layer acquired in step (B), by spraying the powder on the ink composition layer.
