Abstract:
This authentication device authenticates a person passing through a first point, wherein a processor: acquires a first image in which the person passing through the first point is imaged; performs a first authentication of the person on the basis of the first image; and, when the first image includes a mixture of a first person for whom the first authentication was successful and a second person for whom the first authentication was unsuccessful, and a registered group includes a first group to which the first person and another person belong, eases the strictness of the first authentication, and re-executes the first authentication for the second person.
