Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory skin diseases, the composition containing sibiriaester B as an active ingredient. Sibiriaester B was found to not exhibit cytotoxicity and to exhibit the effects of promoting interleukin 2 (IL-2) production and suppressing interleukin 13 (IL-13) production in mouse T cells, and thus can be effectively used as a composition for preventing, treating or ameliorating inflammatory skin diseases.
