The present application discloses a method and system for recovering lead iodide from a perovskite solar cell. The method comprises the following steps: pretreating a recycled perovskite solar cell to obtain perovskite; performing lead iodide dissolution treatment on the perovskite in a second solvent to obtain a lead-iodide-containing solution; mixing the lead-iodide-containing solution with a third solvent to precipitate the lead iodide, and collecting the lead iodide precipitate; wherein the boiling point of the third solvent is lower than the boiling point of the second solvent. The system for recovering lead iodide from a perovskite solar cell comprises: a recycled perovskite solar cell stripping apparatus, a lead iodide extraction apparatus, and a lead iodide precipitation separation apparatus. The method and system for recovering lead iodide from a perovskite solar cell increase the purity and the recovery rate of the lead iodide precipitate, and have low energy consumption.
