Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for displaying a luminous animation on a light-emitting system (1) of a motor vehicle comprising a plurality of elements; a plurality of graphics engines (MG1, MG2, MG3) each associated with one element (21, 22, 23) and a master controller (BCM); and comprising the following steps: (E1) providing each engine with a description (D1) of the associated element; (E2) providing each engine with a description of at least one luminous sub-animation (D2ij); (E10) delivering a clock signal from the master controller to each of the engines; (E11) computing, by means of each engine, an offset between its clock signal and that of the master controller; (E3, E4, E5, E6, E7) determining, by means of each engine, control instructions (bk) for controlling the associated element, on the basis of the descriptions of said associated element, of the luminous sub-animation and of an advance time (ti,j) dependent on said offset; (E9) controlling the elements by means of the instructions.
