Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a lactic acid bacterium having high natural immunoactivating capability. The present invention also addresses the problem of providing: a natural immunoactivator which contains, as an active ingredient, the lactic acid bacterium, dead cells of the lactic acid bacterium or a product of a treatment of the lactic acid bacterium; and a food containing the lactic acid bacterium or the natural immunoactivator. The problem is solved by: a lactic acid bacterium which belongs to the genus Leuconostoc and has been deposited under accession number NITE BP-03717 at the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE), Patent Microorganisms Depositary (NPMD); and a natural immunoactivator which contains, as an active ingredient, the lactic acid bacterium, dead cells of the lactic acid bacterium or a product of a treatment of the lactic acid bacterium, the natural immunoactivator being characterized in that the product of the treatment of the lactic acid bacterium comprises at least one treatment product selected from the group consisting of a fermentation product, a culture, a condensed product, an impasted product, a dried product, a liquefied product, a diluted product, a pulverized product, a sterilized product and a culture extract of the lactic acid bacterium.
