Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a lactic acid bacterium having high natural immunoactivation ability. The present invention also addresses the problem of providing: a natural immunoactivating agent having, as an active ingredient, said lactic acid bacterium, dead bacterium of said lactic acid bacterium, or a processed product of said lactic acid bacterium; and a food containing said lactic acid bacterium or said natural immunoactivating agent. The aforementioned problems are solved by: a lactic acid bacterium that belongs to the genus Companilactobacillus and that is identified by accession number NITE BP-03718 at the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE), Patent Microorganisms Depositary (NPMD); or by a natural immunoactivating agent including, as an active ingredient, said lactic acid bacterium, dead bacterium of said lactic acid bacterium, or a processed product of said lactic acid bacterium. The natural immunoactivating agent is characterized in that the processed product of said lactic acid bacterium is at least one processed product selected from the group consisting of fermentations, cultures, concentrates, pasted products, dried products, liquified products, dilutions, ground products, pasteurized processed products and extracts from cultures of the lactic acid bacterium.
