Abstract:
Provided is an in-water navigation body highspeed and efficient propulsion method. A propulsion apparatus (1) is provided at the bottom of an in-water navigation body, and the propulsion apparatus is provided with a waterjet propulsion device that is provided at the bow portion of the in-water navigation body and sucks in water from the heading direction of the in-water navigation body. The in-water navigation body highspeed and efficient propulsion method can be applied to a submersible apparatus and a ship. The propulsion method increases a total propulsive force for navigation and reduces a total resistance for the navigation of the in-water navigation body without changing the power of the in-water navigation body.
