Abstract:
In order to resolve drawbacks resulting from the fact that joining parts of ground-contacting bodies with respect to the bottom surfaces of furniture have various shapes and other configurations, a furniture system S is provided with a desk D, which is an item of furniture, and a plurality of types of furniture ground-contacting devices A4, B4, C4 which are installed in a plurality of locations on the bottom surface of the desk D, wherein: the plurality of types of furniture ground-contacting devices A4, B4, C4 are provided with a common housing 5 that can be attached to and removed from the desk D, and ground-contacting bodies A62, B62, C62 that are in ground contact with a floor surface and that have respectively different forms; and any of the plurality of types of furniture ground-contacting devices A4, B4, C4 can be selected and installed in the desk D.
