Abstract:
This distance measuring device: measures a TOF measured distance on the basis of a first time difference between a first light-emission timing of a first light-emission pulse and a first light-reception timing of a first light-reception pulse; specifies a group of a plurality of projection elements which emit a second light-emission pulse at a second light-emission timing at which a second time difference between the first light-reception timing and a second light-reception timing of a second light-reception pulse matches a time difference between the first light-emission timing and the second light-emission timing of the second light-emission pulse; measures a stereo measured distance on the basis of the light-projection angle of the specified group of the plurality of projection elements and the light-reception angle of a group of a plurality of light-reception elements; and outputs the TOF measured distance if a reference measured distance is at least a prescribed threshold and outputs the stereo measured distance if not.
