Abstract:
A dishwasher is provided. The dishwasher comprises a tub, a door for opening/closing the tub, and an automatic detergent injection device provided on the door so as to inject solid detergent into the tub. The automatic detergent injection device comprises a storage chamber configured such that multiple pieces of solid detergent can be stacked along one direction and then loaded therein, and a transfer member disposed on one side of the storage chamber in one direction in which multiple pieces of solid detergent can be stacked and configured such that one of the multiple pieces of solid detergent loaded in the storage chamber is moved out of the storage chamber. The transfer member comprises a hub portion configured to be able to rotate in a first rotational direction around an axis of rotation, and a body portion extending from a part of the outer periphery of the hub portion in the radial direction of the hub portion such that the body portion can rotate in the first rotational direction together with the hub portion. The body portion is configured so as to rotate in the first rotational direction such that, when multiple pieces of solid detergent are loaded in the storage chamber, one of the multiple pieces of solid detergent is pressurized toward the outside of the storage chamber, and at least one remaining piece of solid detergent among the multiple pieces of solid detergent in the storage chamber is guided by the body portion so as to move along one direction.
