The control method for the automation system comprises: in response to an operation of a user, determining whether a cap addition/removal operation is comprised in an automation process; for the situation where the cap addition/removal operation is comprised, determining whether a starting position and/or a destination position of a task operation in the automation process supports the cap addition/removal operation; when a first determination result is that the starting position and/or the destination position of the task operation in the automation process supports the cap addition/removal operation, determining the starting position and/or the destination position as an execution position of the cap addition/removal operation; and delivering a task operation instruction in the automation process to a transport operation execution device, so that the transport operation execution device performs task deduction according to the task operation instruction. Therefore, the execution time of the cap addition/removal operation is saved, and the execution efficiency of the task operation is effectively ensured.
