Abstract:
A caster 10 is provided with: a jig 11 that fixedly mounts to an item for transport; a cartwheel 14 having a shaft 13 connected at the rotation center thereof; a shaft case 12 in which the cartwheel 14 and the jig 11 are journaled, and that connects the cartwheel 14 and the jig 11; a stopper member 24 that can be abutted on a wheel 39 of the cartwheel 14; a stopper mechanism 15 that has a toggle structure including the stopper member 24; and an operation mechanism 18 that deforms the toggle structure to cause the stopper member 24 to abut on the wheel 39, thereby stopping rotation of the cartwheel 14.
