Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a battery and an electric device, which relate to the technical field of batteries. The battery comprises a case, and a battery cell and a treatment device which are contained in the case. The treatment device is used for treating an exhaust gas discharged into the case by the battery cell so as to adjust the concentration of a preset gas in the exhaust gas to be lower than a corresponding preset value, the preset gas being a mixture of one or more combustible gases. The treatment device can treat the exhaust gas discharged into the case when thermal runaway occurs the battery cell, such that the concentration of the mixture of one or more combustible gases in the exhaust gas is lowered below the preset value. The flammability rating of the combustible gas is lowered, the risk of battery combustion and explosion is reduced, and the safety of the battery is effectively improved.
